Trebanos is a village in the Swansea Valley in South Wales, near Pontardawe.

According to Saved from the Flames by Roger Willoughby and John Wilson, the medal and reward of two guineas was awarded for the rescue of Phoebe Joseph (57) and Elizabeth Davies (12) from a fire started by a candle which set curtains on fire

The suspender is slack and allows the disc to move. At some time in the past an unsuccessful attempt has been made to repair it with solder.
