United StThis auction is for one 8" x 12"  MIJ  (made in Japan)  red sparkle, maybe glitter wrap drum.  This drum has potential for a person who may need a drum like this.  However there are issues with this drum.  The bottom side or bearing edge of this drum is out of round.  I think it sat for a LONG time with out a bottom head on it and wood warp happened.  I did get the black Remo head on .  One of the lugs on the bottom side is missing the internal piece that a tension rod anchors into.  On the top side bearing edges,  something more odd is going on.  If the drum might have three plies,  it appears that the middle layer or ply did not go all the way up to the top.  The pictures clearly show,  that there is a void there.  But one of the pictures shows from the inside seam area, that the internal ply just does not go all the way up.  That may or may not be a problem,  but I am just describing the condition of this drum.  The red sparkle or glitter wrap is still in decent shape.  The seam is tight and goes under the clip mount.  There is NO brand name on this drum.  Some of you might be able to tell by the shape of the lug.  I don't know that.  There is still a vent grommet.
