Vintage opal cabochon ring in 9ct yellow gold with a hallmark for London and dates 1979. The opal is a pretty white with green, pink and blue fire like colours reflective colours that are quite captivating. Bezel set with an etruscan banded style detail to the shoulders to a fine round plain profile band, the setting having a closed back setting. In v. good condition for a ring of its era.

The opal is approx 7x5mm and the ring is a size K UK or a size 5 1/8 US and weighs 1.2 grams.
