For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a fairly rare for the USA market Baume et Mercier Capeland Chronograph, Swiss made fine timepiece with four wonderful strap options and complete boxing, booklet and card.  Baume & Mercier, or "B&M," has created a timeless design icon with the Capeland line of fine timepieces.  This chronograph version, with a black dial, subtle red accents and both Tacymeter and Telemeter scales, is among their most premium offerings.  And this mechanical, automatic movement chronograph with a wonderful exhibition caseback is probably the most iconic references while still being rare to see or purchase in the wild.  If you picked up this one new from B&G back in the day, you were paying a little over $4,500 out the door.

Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity.

We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces.  If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem.  Just ask if you have a question!

We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular.  We always have the inventory in our possession.  We do not do the broker thing.

The condition of this watch is as follows:  Pre-owned in very good condition.  I would rate this cool timepiece at 95%+.

Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision.

With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include:

1.     This watch is large at 42mm and works well on medium to large wrists.  It brings a modern large look and I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+1/2 inches in circumference and larger.  I have an average size wrist and this watch works well on my wrist.  This will fit up to about an 8 inch wrist with ease and great proportions.

2.     This is peculiar watch that makes a modern oversized "Sporting Tough Guy" kind of statement.  This watch is made for casual times and is pretty much perfect with a black leather jacket, a black, grey or white t-shirt and jeans look or for going out to a cool club, bar or restaurant.  It certainly can work for business occassions but with the heft, size and strong wrist presence I think it is better suited for a more casual work environment.  Evening, Friday, Saturday and Sunday is more the vibe for this one.

3.  The various strap options are awesome and this is a "strap monster" in that a variety of straps look great with it.  This brings versatility to your wardrobe and "wrist game."  I personally think it looks its best on the black Baume et Mercier strap (with deployant buckle) and the deep, dark grey-to-black suede strap with red accent on the tang buckle.  I am just more of a black strap kind of guy as I wear a lot of black and black leather jackets or various weights and thickness.

4.  Highlights on this one include the interesting and masculine dial --- the classic chronograph registers, the slightly retro dial design and the wonderful Tachymeter and Telemeter (in red) scales.

5.  Tremendous value in automatic chronograph watch making here.  Swiss made, stylish and striking.  They also managed to include a date complication on the dial and everything looks wonderfully well proportioned and stylish.  The two leather straps with the white/cream stitching bring out the high-contrast white elements on the dial nicely.

6.  Flipping this one over and you get a look into the automatic mechanical wizardry of the movement.  Unexpected and great value that you can appreciate versus keeping the goods under a boring, plain caseback.

7.   Baume & Mercier is of course legendary for high-quality and tremendous value.  This chronograph timepiece is squarely in their "wheelhouse" of what they do exceptionally well.  This watch often generates conversations and is immediately recognizeable as a luxury timepiece though in kind of a stealthy, "bad-boy" kind of way.  It is a substantial watch that one feels on their wrist and similarly one feels that they are wearing a timepiece costing double what I am asking.

8.  Additional Baume & Mercier collateral --- box, card, book and the four straps in total --- as noted in the "everything picture" rounds out this listing.

We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you).  Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside).  In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.  We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue.  100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way.

Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get.  The only exception is the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great.  The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond.

And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some.

Thank you for your consideration,

Steve
