This Cap Gun - .38 Detective Special Silencer Die Cast Metal is a vintage item from the 70s, 80s or 90s.

There's no year on the box and no bar code.

The gun measures approx 4 1/4 inches long.

Measures approx 6 1/2 inches long with the silencer attached.

I recently listed an auction with 14 new packs of ring disc shot caps.

The toy gun made by Tai Chong Toys and includes a silencer.

Which probably doesn't really silence anything.

The gun is brand new and comes in an open box.

Doesn't look like it was ever sealed.

It is made of die cast material and is suitable for ages 8 and up.

This item was manufactured in China and is a great addition to any collection of vintage or antique toys.

A person at Canada Post told me that this toy gun (and the caps that it fires) are OK to ship within Canada.

He said  I could run into problems if I tried to ship this to the US.

So, I listed this as a "Canada Only" auction.
