Unit - USMC VMF-312 (The Checkerboarders), No. "530" - 1st Lt. M.O. Chance - On May 6, 1945, Lt. Chance and his Corsair were shot down during the Battle of Okinawa where the Allies lots 763 aircraft to Japan's 7,800.

Markings - navy blue with No. 530 and star in white on fuselage with blue and white checkerboard on propeller and tail with white star on wings. Comes with stand with No. 0228 of 2500 distributed worldwide. Comes with attachable gear. 

Condition - new with minor wear on box. Comes with all Corgi paperwork.
