Recent find from a North Carolina estate.  This listing is for a set of twelve 10 1/8" dinner plates by Shumann, Bavaria, Germany in the Empress pattern.  Each is marked with the Germany US Zone mark on the underside, dating these plates to the late 1940's.  All are in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing.  No evidence of use; the colors are vibrant, the glaze has a high sheen, and the gold embellishments are strong and complete.  Please review all photos for overall design, dimensions, and condition.  Click on each for a larger, expanded view.  Photos do contain measurements and price listed is for all 12 plates.
