One of A Kind Frog Lamp Shade...

Attic Find.. Getting Items out of my Moms attic and found this.. from the 50's she said... It was in my brothers room,, I don't remember it and my brother is no longer with us to give to him...

From what she remembered she got it from the artist in Chicago which we can not figure out his name... I give this info, for if your interested you might know who he is..

the whimsical frogs that are hand painted on silk then stretched onto the shade.. it is about 9 tall and approx 12 3/4 wide at the bottom and 7" on the top opening...

condition is very good for age.. pliable not dryrot a few marks that maybe able to wipe off, and the top black binding in a few areas have come loose.. all this is simple fixes... but I leave that up to the new owner...

I am not sure how to price this sweet shade Hope it is a winner for you..... maybe artist is famous??? either way this is such a cute frog lamp shade... The artist I believe sold alot of his art on Piers on the East Coast Florida. I believe this is where my mom purchased from him... Wish she was still here so I could ask her more info on this...
