Welcome to the sale of my Rover Mini City E, well that's what the V5 says, but you will see from the pictures I have made a few alterations. I bought the car in July 2018 when I was running a vehicle repair business. I still have pictures of how it looked and these and a large document file will be supplied to the new owner so they have evidence of what work has been carried out.
If I start with the body, that has had numerous new panels and a rear subframe. It has a half roll cage fitted. The front wings have been altered to take the later Sports pack 13" wheels. Also the appropriate steering rack, (new) has been fitted.
The aches are original Sports pack items, and they have a rubber sleeve fitted to the body to prevent road dirt getting behind them. It has twin tanks fitted, a modern electric fuel pump mounted on the rear subframe in the old position. The pump is wired to a later Rover car's fuel cut off switch in the event of a collision. The earth to the pump being isolated. The fuel system has an adjustable pressure control in the engine compartment.
Under the bonnet is an early (pre A+) 1275 engine, bored to plus 40 thou: A Mg midget large valve cylinder head with double valve springs, twin 1 1/4 carbs, three branch exhaust manifold connected to the early style Cooper exhaust system. Aluminium radiator which has an independent cooler fan mounted under the nearside wing. And oil cooler.
Inside I've reverted the dashboard to the earlier centre pod, and there is an independent tacho mounted in front of the steering wheel. All the seat covers are new, as are the front and rear windscreens, obviously window seals.
Mechanically, brakes, suspension, (adjustable),  bushes hoses etc are been replaced.
The MOT expires on the 30th June this year and since the last mot it has done  197 miles, which is why its time to be sold. I've enjoyed bringing the car back from the brink! Obviously like me you will need to notify any insurance company of the modifications. If you have any questions please ask.
The pictures were taken last year for insurance purposes. There are some minor blemishes in the paintwork. Vehicle sold as seen with no guarantee or warranty. I am now retired and have ceased trading. A new mot will be provided to a new owner. I have reduced the price today, (16th April) as my insurance expires at the end of June and I do not really want to renew this.
