A vintage Japanese political boundaries world map printed March 5, 1933 by the Osaka Asahi Newspaper. (close up of the date in photo # 6)
This would be the political boundaries just before World War Two.
It seems the map makers were aware of the world situation at the time and show various countries military armaments (Includes the U.S., Japan, Russia, China and most of Europe) These figures show their armies, navies, shipping capabilities and various planes.
Although it was folded a long time it is still in good condition with no damage at the folds. The last five photos shows closeups of the back with its folds.
It's 31 x 42 1/2 inches. (79 x 108 cm)
