This metal well made and sturdy pair of forceps measures 7 inches in length with textured handles measuring 3/4 inches in width and narrowing as they they get closer to the pulling claw shaped end which has interior grooves to keep the tooth from slipping.

Similar types of forceps or tooth extractors have been used since antiquity in almost every country as the best implement for pulling teeth. There is no trade mark or name to indicate who or when it was made. There is only the number 27 on the end of the handle, which may have indicated the size of the instrument or type of tooth upon which it was to be used.

This dental forceps is strong, sturdy and in good condition and still seems to be in working condition should someone wish to use it (which we do not recommend).  They would be a great addition to ones collection of dental and / or medical instruments. Guess what - NO RESERVE !!
