Volvo 240 GT Strut Upper Brace Bars

To fit all Volvo 240 models (240/242/244/245 1974-1993)

Items included:

- 2x Strut bars (one for both struts)

- Fixings & washers.

There are things you can do to improve the 240 chassis stiffness. Volvo thought of this too. Back in 1978 the 242 GT came equipped with UPPER diagonal suspension tower braces.

The Volvo 240s that were developed for Group A European Touring Car Racing got strut tower cross braces to help stiffen the chassis. There are a few different versions like these that have been made available for street Volvos over the years.

These have been developed by Viking Fabrications to replicate this original Volvo design.

Supplied in bare steel with fixing bolts. These bolt to factory mounting locations (one to the strut top, and the other is hidden behind the foam insulation on the bulkhead from factory)
