Vintage K & E / TRU POINT Mechanical Drafting Pencil. NOS  “Automatic”  K+E  model 58-0303 made in the heartland of the USA in Michigan circa 1967. This pencil for 2 mm lead is all metal and operates via a fairly unusual combination of push button repeater activation and a four part brass clutch mechanism at the nose, much like a more typical drafting leadholder.  In any case, it is quite convenient since the lead does not fall out of the barrel when the button is engaged to advance the lead and you don’t have to hold it nose down to advance the lead.  Nicely shaped barrel has machined grooves near the nose for a good grip and is quite comfortable to hold.  NOS pocket clip is for use as you see fit. This rare version of the K+E model will make a great addition to your collection…especially in its NOS condition…
