NOTE: ONLY fits model years 1970-1984 dual shock Airheads.
The front hole on the side stand attaches to the left exhaust hanger, using the included special shoulder nut and bolt. You have to slide the exhaust hanger forward, then attach the hanger to the front hole of the stand. The rear hole on the stand is the “rear engine mount bolt” hole. You completely abandon the factory sidestand and its mount. See attached picture of instructions for additional installation instructions. Please note: Installation/location of muffler clamp can vary on some installations. Ie: inside, outside, or split.
