The camera uses a 2CR5 battery (included) and works correctly. It powers up quickly with information being displayed on the screen by the shutter button. There are no dings or dents on the camera and just minor signs of wear - mainly some cracking on the bottom of the handgrip covering near the battery cover. The shutter works fine with the film being automatically wound on. The self timer also works correctly. Limited modes can be selected by pressing the P/H mode button - see 6th & 7th photos.
This model camera does not have a built in flash but an external flash (be aware of Minolta's special flash mount) may be fitted. The flash mount has been tested & works correctly.
The 14th photo shows the camera fitted with a Jessops 320AFM flash (not included but listed separately). The flash worked correctly on the camera.
I inserted a used film and battery into the camera (film not included) and confirm that the film was correctly taken up & wound on after each time the shutter was fired. At the end of the film it was automatically rewound into the film cassette. See photos 12 & 13.
No further testing has been done & the camera is not film tested i.e. I have not put a new film through it and had it processed.

The Vivitar f4.5-5.6 70-2100mm MC Auto Focus Zoom lens is clean with no dings or dents. There is no fungus & just slight dust as is usual for older lenses. Filter size is 52mm. No filter is included. Sony/Minolta AF bayonet mount. The manual focusing and zooming rings operate smoothly. The original Vivitar front cap is included.
The lens has been tested on a Lumix M4/3 camera with an adapter (Lumix camera & adapter not included). See the last 8 test photos. Very good sharp results.
The lens has a Minolta AF bayonet mount and may be adapted for use on a modern DSLR or M4/3 camera. Please contact me if you need assistance to find a suitable adapter. I believe it can be used directly on a Sony DSLR - please check before bidding.
