The 153rd separate infantry brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, formed in 2023. It was part of the creation of four other brigades to expand the Ukrainian Ground Forces. in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and is expected to take part in a potential Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2024. The brigade's insignia, motto and creation were officially unveiled and revealed in December 2023.

The 153rd Infantry Brigade was created in October 2023 and was intended to become a mechanized brigade, like other units whose expansion was announced in late 2023. The 153rd Independent Mechanized Brigade became an infantry brigade on April 2, 2024 due to shortages equipment for the newly created brigades, which forced the Ukrainian command to rethink their plans.
