DELL OPTIPLEX 320 DESKTOP PC, 2.2GHZ CORE 2 DUO CPU, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, WIN XP - CUSTOM BUILD

You are buying a custom built Dell Optiplex 320 slim tower/desktop computer base unit.  As shown in the listing photos, this is no ordinary Optiplex 320.  I had built this custom PC using a Dell Dimension C521 computer case, Optiplex 320 motherboard, power supply and other components a while.ago for to run old Windows XP era software.

As this PC is now surplus I have upgraded the hard drive to a larger 320GB Seagate SATA drive and installed a fresh install of Windows XP.   Please note that it won't be possible to also increase the amount of RAM (with a graphics card installed) due to limitations of the Optiplex 320 motherboard. 

The computer is based on the following specification:-

• 2.20 Ghz Intel Core2 Duo Processor E4500
• 2 GB DDR2 Ram
• 320GB Seagate SATA Hard drive
• DVD/CD-RW drive
• ATI/AMD 128MB Radeon X1300 PCI-Express graphics card - with DVI(I) connector
• Dell Optiplex 320 motherboard with 6 USB (2x front and 4x back), integrated Intel graphics, sound, LAN and the usual serial (com), parallel ports.
• Dell Dimension C521 Desktop case in good condition has marks on the side and top panels. This case has a Windows Vista Home Basic product key/COA label on the top of the case
• Dell Optiplex internal front speaker.

I have installed Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (from an original Dell Installation DVD), please note that NO further official updates are available online for this version of Windows.  Unfortunately Microsoft had ended this support a while ago. 

Please note that no power or other cables or peripherals are included with this computer. 

This computer can be used straight out of the box unlike other similar computers listed on ebay.

Please also note that this computer has note been connected to the internet.  Microsoft ended their support for Windows XP back in 2014 (9 years ago). It is extremely wise not to connect this and other computers running this and other old (non supported) versions of Windows to the internet.  Bad things can happen, such as, computer viruses, malware and ransomware etc!
