Vintage Maurice Guerdate Gold Plated Oval Mechanical Hand Wind Watch

This watch is running & working well! When time tested it did gain around 3 minutes over a 24 hour period but that’s not bad for a vintage watch!

About the watch & condition: 

Here we have a nice & unique Maurice Guerdate mechanical watch. When time tested it gained around 3 minutes over a 24 hour period which for a vintage watch isn’t too bad! Unfortunately no pictures of the movement due to it being a front loader. More details below!

The dial itself is a stunning golden colour with no markers looking very elegant. There’s some small wear around the edges but nothing major at all. Most the markers are on the crystal which may want replacing.

As mentioned the crystal does have some light scratching and some slightly larger ones on the upper left side as shown. There’s also on small crack towards the bottom left.

The case of this watch looks great and is in a nice unique oval shape. The gold plating is nice and has minimal fading, there is some wear towards both the top & bottom of the watch as shown. There’s also some light scratches but this is expected of any pre owned watch!

The watch has a matching gold plated crown which winds & works just as you’d expect!

Has a nice brown leather strap which goes well with the case and is a good size. It will fit a wrist of 7 1/4 Inches & condition wise it’s practically new as shown in the pictures. Only has very minimal signs of wear!

This watch is a mechanical watch, this means it needs to be wound for it to work. Please know this when buying!
