This Mido Multifort Pulsometer wristwatch - from my personal private collection - is a rare find for collectors.

My most recent research (as part of my watch collecting hobby) shows that there might literally only be one or two of this model for sale out there in the entire world of watches, which includes a few thousand from the manufacturer Mido!

Featuring a stainless steel case with a polished finish and exhibition caseback, it has a two-piece strap with black leather and a silver bezel with a dial that uniquely has 4 sectors for pulse measurement enabling accurate pulse taking in just 15 beats.

There is also a stainless steel bracelet, which is sized but essentially unworn.

The dial is white with a multi-sector pattern, as well as luminous hands and a central seconds hand.

The Swiss-made watch has a mechanical automatic movement with 25 jewels, shock-resistant, and around a 40-hour power reserve. The date function is also visible at the 3 o’clock position, and it comes with a manual/booklet for all movements and a specific one with instructions for the Pulsometer function.

This vintage watch was manufactured in the 2000s, and it's in excellent condition, as you can see from the photos.

Boxed set including booklets x2 , plastic unstamped card and Mido box.

It’s currently on a Darlena quality leather strap and the original Mido unused (but sized) steel bracelet included.

Measures 48mm lug to lug x 38mm wide with 20 mm lugs.

Signed in all the right places ,keeps excellent non quartz time, date changes correctly.

Based on an ETA 2824 25-jewel hacking automatic movement, visible through a sapphire crystal.

It has been worn over the years but not that often, so no major marks that I can see with the naked eye to either sapphire glass or visible case - only the usual strap changing marks behind the lugs - invisible whilst wearing it.

Take your pulse with this - it’s very easy and if you do it right it’s really accurate!!
