Original Metzger Lebkuchen
Since
1685, we have been producing the original Metzger Lebkuchen at the
highest level and selling it in Vienna and around the world. The
established Lebkuchen and candle shop at Stephansplatz in Vienna brought
the Lebkuchen from our founding house in Perchtoldsdorf directly to the
Habsburg court of Empress Maria Theresia.
The
original Lebkuchen chocolates and Lebkuchen confections are tailor-made
for the opulent Viennese taste, just like the traditional Viennese
men's cake. The traditionally made Lebkuchen are refined with different
types of delicate marzipan, fruit or nut fillings and coated with
high-quality chocolate. Most of the Lebkuchen in our assortment today
are covered with crunchy chocolate and topped with fruit or nuts.
