On offer is a Kaross(not familiar with the brand/maker) 11/16" wide straight razor made of Carbon Steel. It is Half Hollow and has really nice mother of pearl scales. This razor was sourced in a UK auction house sale. A medium size razor collection of a deceased gentleman was put on sale. I acquired about 40 razors, some of them(but not all) NOS. I cannot be 100% confident on this one being NOS, but for sure if there was any use, then it must have been very mild. Offering it here as downsizing my collection and I also need funds. Please note that this razor is not shave ready, so it will need honing. I won't be doing it so please enjoy doing it yourself or send it to a pro honer. Razor comes with a generic case.
Condition Report: This razor is in very good condition with minor blemishes. This razor has been restored by my father, who normally does that work for me. The restoration was done without any high speed tools with the integrity of the steel put as first priority. Only 5K and 7K sandpaper used, in order not to leave any nasty marks from lower level grits. There wasn't any rust just some pitting, more noticeable on the upper level. The razor has some minor pitting/marks alongside some light sandpaper marks and watermarks. It could have been very easy to sand the heck out of the razor and then put it in a high wheel to make it shine and claim "excellent condition" as many sellers do. But this is not the way I deal with razors and sell them. The scales are in very good condition. Please note that one of the mother of pearl pieces/blocks is not firmly attached to the main body of the scales. There is a bit of worrle, that is if you deliberately press against it. Otherwise, it doesn't affect it anyhow. I have added some extra photos to depict it. Some tiny dents next to where the blade centres on the inner part, but not visible under normal circumstances. The razor is ready to be put back to service. There is no edge at all, so it will need bevel setting work. The blade centred perfectly fine within the scales.

This means I will send it to the UK centre and after that eBay will do the rest. They will take care of the taxes due and charge you for them alongside their shipping fee. You will get the exact added amount at the checkout. I don't have any control over those charges. They will also be responsible for any damage during the transportation. The item will arrive to you without any further action needed from your side.
Returns: For this razor I will not be offering returns as it is sold as-is. The listing is for a very good condition razor and this is what you will get. Ask as many questions as you like and request 100+ extra photos. I will respond. Once the transaction is over, no returns whatsoever. Only claim would be for damage during transportation or if the razor was misdescribed.
