This is a Rare Antique Working 19th Century Ansonia "La Clair" Victorian "Royal Bonn" Porcelain Ceramic Mantel Shelf Clock with Porcelain Dial, made by the Ansonia Clock Company New York USA, circa 1882. It has a Beautiful Footed 'Royal Bonn Germany' Blue and White German Fine China Porcelain Ceramic Case with Hand Painted Floral Flowers With Gold Gilt Accents and Vibrant Colors, Absolutely Stunning!!! The Case is Signed on the Back "La Clair" and "Royal Bonn Germany". This Has a Porcelain Dial with Arabic Style Numerals and Ornate Fancy Bezel with Heavy Beveled Glass. This Clock has an Ansonia Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, which is signed "Ansonia Clock Co. New York USA Patented June 18 1882".  It has a Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime which Strikes Once On The Half Hour and the Correct Amount Of Times On The Hour for the Time. There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Adjustable Brass Regulator Pendulum. The Clock Measures approx. 13" Tall x 9 3/4" Wide x 4 3/4" Deep. The Porcelain Case is in Good Condition, with Normal Crazing From Age, Overall Very Nice!!! I Wound the Clock Up and it is in Working Condition and Ticks and Strikes Correctly, but Has Not Been Serviced or Tested For Accuracy, Sold As Found! This will make a Stunning addition to your Home.
