Minnesota's Metropolitan Stadium on 7-10-1966 for Twins 4-2 win over the Detroit Tigers in front of 19,861.   Al Kaline tied the game in the 6th inning with a two run blast to left field, his 21st of the year. He would go 2-4. All the tigers could muster were 3 singles by Wert, Horton and Gates Brown. Career Homerun #271 for Kaline and Earl Wilson got the loss to go to 8-7.
The Twins Dave Boswell(6-5) gave up 4 hits in the win.  Zolio Versalles 1-4, Tony Oliva 2-4, Don Mincher's two run Homer his 10th had given them the lead. It was Harmon Killebrew who crushed one in the bottom of the 6th to take back the lead, his 17th.  Killebrew's Homer was the HOF sluggers 314th of career!!
