Unsigned designer magnificent wide multi-color crystal linked bracelet and clip earrings set. Gold-plated base metal.
The bracelet features 2 rows of marquise, oval, pear-shaped, and chaton shades of blue and purple crystals, iridescent molded stones and borealis crystals. All stones are prong set, some in open-backed and unfoiled sets. Gold-plated base metal.
The matching earrings feature the same lava rocks, blue and purple colors, but have unique pie-shaped crystals in lieu of oval and marquise.
The bracelet measures 7"L by 1 1/2"W and fastens with a push-slot style clasp. The clip earrings measure 1 1/2" by 1".
Unsigned. According to the prior owners, this is a Hattie Carnegie set, but due to research and previously owned/signed sets, I'm fairly confident that the it's an Elsa Schiaparelli design. Either way, this set is just so well-made and distinctly sophisticated that its top designer pedigree is undeniable.
Very good to excellent vintage condition with minor metal wear. Supremely gorgeous; they don't make 'em like this anymore!
