In one month, a total of 625,518 dollars (about 74 million yen), which is four times the target amount, will be collected to produce a new work. The
resulting sequel, Little Witch Academia: Parade of Magical Tricks, premiered in July 2015 at the Anime Expo, North America's largest anime convention and anime expo 2015, the world's fastest premiere prior to its screening in Japan, eliciting the event's first-ever standing ovation from the 4,000 spectators who filled the venue.
