The Pendant
A beech wood pebble pendant - left over from another project - it's sanded smooth and pyrographed with a design of linked spirals that connect front, back and over its sides. I sanded the wood smooth and pyrographed a design of spirals, onto the wood.. It's been treated with local beeswax polish. It's about 1.5 inches/ 4 cm in length and comes with a generous length of waxed cotton cord strung with a wood bead - and is an unusual pendant, Beech The beech is one of the climax trees of a British woodland - it grows huge and tall. It's associated with knowledge and is also one of the trees often associated with the Celtic Tree Ogham.

Wood for most of the items comes from my land and that of my friends and family. I collect deadfall - gifts from the trees and prunings for my work. I make every attempt to reuse and recycle where-ever possible, and this includes my packaging materials (alas this is not always possible), I encourage our customers to continue to do so!
