IMPORTANT NOTE:

I need to get a permission to export this item from the authority (The Agency for Cultural Affairs) since this is an antique art, it takes at least 4 weeks. So, you need to bear it in mind that it takes 5 to 7 weeks to receive your order. (I will confirm that you understand this after your purchase.)

This item includes a certificate of The NBTHK (The Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai; The Society for Preservation of Japanese Art Swords). I hid the original owner's name with a wood piece.

This swords was certificated in 1976. The present certificate system was introduced since September 1982, so this was certificated under the former certificate system. I am not still sure the old certificate has still effectiveness. Please note this.

In the former certificate system, there were 5 ranks to judge its preciousness. This sword was judged as the most lower rank, which is Kicho Touken (a precious sword.) Please note that there are many swords that could not earn any rank. So, this at least judged that it deserved a precious sword rank.

About condition, there are surface rusting on the blade, it appears that the former owner tried to remove rusts near the tip. (not by me.)
