TRIUMPH
There cant be many pastimes more rewarding and pleasurable than owning a classic car and there's certainly no classic car quite like a Triumph. In this programme you can see a handpicked selection and take a front seat as they're put through their paces.

Also awaiting your attention is the rich history that lies behind each featured model. The Stag, TR2, TR7, Herald and the schoolboy dream Spitfire are all featured in detail - classic, iconic models indelibly implanted in the minds of enthusiasts of the loved and respected Triumph marque.

MG
The MG car company was founded in the 1920s by Cecil Kimber, who was at the time employed by another illustrious name in the automotive world, William Morris. MG in fact comes from the name Morris Garages.

As a marque, the MG name was in production for over 50 years, creating some of the most iconic and much loved sports cars in motoring history. In this programme we explore many of these historic vehicles while getting up close and personal with the personalities and car enthusiasts who make up the MG world. The K3, Midget, Roadster, PA, TA, MGB, all feature in this collection.

Star billing has to go to the white MGA tourer, a beautifully restored and much loved classic MG car.

VAUXHALL
As one of the most long-standing and successful motor companies Britain has ever known, Vauxhall, alongside other great names of the car industry, makes up the foundation of the nations unique motoring heritage. Vauxhall has produced a plethora of models, ranging from military transport and sports cars, to family and commercial vehicles, and in this programme we explore a handful of their most celebrated models.

A fine example of a Vauxhall 14 opens the programme, closely followed by the epitome of elegance and post-war chic, the Velox. Next to be featured is a 1948 model J type, followed by the trailblazing Vauxhall 10. Originally priced at 168, this car helped bring the open road to the British post-war family, due to Vauxhall's reduced production costs, and the company's wise decision to pass the savings onto the consumer. A white VX490 is next to be shown, and can only be described as a true 1960s machine. It is followed by a red 1924 Vauxhall 30/98, a show-stopper and a head turner, in real life and on the small screen, which brings this gala performance from one of Britain's best loved marques to a finale.

MORGAN & AUSTIN MORRIS
Here we visit two great British events. The first is Brooklands Museum for an Austin and Morris motor gathering. Every year the museum holds special open days when the public and motor enthusiasts can visit the excellent Museum Of Motor Racing, see the famous Brooklands Track and watch cars attempt to climb the famous Test Hill.

Our cameras were there to capture this unique and fascinating event. In part two we visit a Morgan owners club rally in the beautiful setting of Margam Park, South Wales, to see hundreds of Morgan sports cars both old and new. It is an event not to be missed! So sit back and enjoy the spirit of motoring past and present.
