Offered is a quant, primitive, 19^th century, hand carved, flax comb with beautifully carved handle

 and teeth all from a single, hand chosen piece of wood. The condition is excellent with a mellow, 

surface, patina, and it would seem to have been whittled to fit the weaver’s hand. The flax comb

 measures  9” long X 3” wide X 1” deep.
