Up for your consideration is a stunning 5 pan set of vintage cast iron skillets from the 1950s era.  If you’re a big fan of factory ground swirl patterns on skillets, then this may be what you are looking for!  All 5 pans are in excellent condition and look like they have hardly been used.  This would make an excellent wedding gift!

All of the skillets have the beautiful factory swirl patterns which were an upgraded option to the surface polish back when these were forged in the 50s.  Only about 5% of all pans had the upgraded swirl finish when produced. The rest had either a smooth polish cooking surface or the standard “as cast” option which left a more textured surface.

These swirl pattern skillets can be found occasionally in the wild at antique shops but not as a set in this condition.  This is the result of years of collecting to acquire a group like this.

The set includes:
#10 skillet - 12 niches
#8 skillet - 10.5 inches
#6 skillet - 9 inches
#5 skillet - 8 inches
#3 skillet - 6.5 inches

All 5 skillets have been thoroughly and meticulously stripped down to bare iron using the safest, non abrasive methods.  The bare iron surface is immediately conditioned to prevent any flash rusting and then slowly seasoned in the oven using special oils and conditioners.  Each pan goes through the seasoning process 3-4 times to achieve a nice evenly coated non-stick cooking surface to be ready for all your favorite recipes. I take great pride on making sure each pan is seasoned properly and will offer many years of pleasurable cooking. I also offer restoration services on my clients personal cookware.  Please let me know what questions you may have.
