This is a card lot from Topps' Baseball Archives: The Ultimate 1953 Series which is a reprint of its 1953 set. If I counted correctly, there are 794 cards, and there are numerous duplicates, though not too many of the superstars. The complete set is 330 cards and It falls a bit short as I believe it is missing 10 cards. It's a little confusing because the checklist shows 337 but there are cards that were never printed in 1953 and the numbering of the original set is used despite some not existing (#s 253, 261, 267, 268, 271, & 275 do not exist). The checklist also states that #174, Billy Loes, isn't part of the set because Topps failed to get authorization to reproduce the card. I've got the cards sorted in a long box with the near complete set at the front and the duplicates after that, all in numerical order.
