This is a FABULOUS FIND!! It is a vintage early 1970's 18k yellow gold Rolex Day-Date ref. 1803 w/rare champagne linen vintage pie pan dial! This one comes with the original red Rolex president box, punched Rolex papers, 1970 Day-Date instruction pamphlet, and 1972 Calendar card! You should not pass up this one!

The watch is in a 36 mm 18k yellow gold case with fluted bezel.  20 mm lug width. There are a few light scratches on the case and case back has a scuff on it. The crystal has small scratches. The original dial is very nice--see photos!  Overall great condition for its age! 

Serial number 2827XXX, dates to right around 1970. The model and serial numbers are clearly legible between the lugs. The punched papers have the matching serial number. The Day-Date instruction/information pamphlet is dated 1970. The calendar card is 1972. The red Rolex president box measures 7" X 5" X 3" and is marked 56.01.2. Some scratches on the lower edges of the box.

The watch is currently running, and is keeping time within about 5 seconds/day according to our timing machine. Since we did not receive any service documentation with this watch, we do not guarantee the timekeeping on this watch.
