Notes For Winning Bidders:

Image Auctions May Be Sporadic this Spring as I work through client legal matters!

First, USPS service continues to deteriorate with many items arriving in four to five weeks.   Please be Patient.  These issues are not the fault of eBay or those of us selling on eBay.  If you have not received your package in a timely manner, please reach out to your sellers first, NOT eBay.

Second, When you win an auction, you are forming a contract If you breach your contract with me, you will find subsequent bids blocked, permanently.

You Bid, You Win, You Pay!  No exceptions.

Lastly, we leave feedback for you as a courtesy to acknowledge that we have received your payment; Thank You.  We would appreciate an acknowledgment that you have received your item.  Please reciprocate by leaving positive feedback for us.

Up for bid is a Kodachrome Original Slide of a WT Loco.  This slide is in very good condition!  I did not manipulate this image - What you see is what you get!  This was stored in a smoke-free home in Central Florida.

This is a great find for anyone interested in early Diesels in the Nation's Capital!

I have lots of material from other roads!  Check out my other listings!

The words "Shadyside of the Tracks, LLC" only appear on the auction site; they are not on the slide.

Multiple wins get mailed together to save on shipping expenses!  Orders for Slides, Medium & Small Format Negatives, or Prints up to 5x7, for more than $75.00 ship for free!

Information about copyright and use of these images:  Any prints, images, negatives, or slides that were taken by myself  you may use as you see fit with the stipulation that the images are to be credited "Bob Harris."  For prints, images, slides and negatives taken by others, please use these guidelines:

As to prints, images, negatives, and slides taken by photographers other than the Seller, Seller makes no representation as to the copyright status of the prints, images, negatives, or slides sold or otherwise transferred to Buyer.  Copyright exists solely by operation of law and the Buyer is advised to contact the named photographer of the image prior to copying, scanning, or making any other use of any of these prints, images, negatives, or slides.

I have purchased images, prints, negatives, and slides from a number of photographers and estates and have, in many cases, obtained permission to use the images for my commercial use in publications and for the sale of prints, digital media, etc.  In those cases, I am retaining a high-res scan.  I am reserving the right to publish, print, sell duplicates, DVDs, and/or scans of these images.  I place no restrictions on what you do with the negative, print, or slide once you have purchased it, other than to give the original photographer credit.  I am a Lawyer licensed to practice law in Montana, bar registration #65104928, in Colorado, bar registration #55693, and in Indiana, bar registration #36739-46.  I can only advise Montana, Colorado, and Indiana clients regarding copyright.

Small Print:

I am now invoicing at the end of each auction, but I can hold negatives and slides from any given Saturday auction for one week.  This way I can combine slide and negative wins to save you money on shipping expenses.  I will begin shipping negatives and slides each week on Tuesdays.

Please provide payment within 10 days of the end of the auctionOnce you have won an auction, you are under contract to complete the transaction.  Transactions not completed within this time frame are in breach of contract and will result in blocked bids.

I have found that several folks have been discontented with my shipping fees and have voiced this through the eBay seller ratings.  Please understand that postage is not the same as shipping.  Shipping includes postage to be certain.  However, it also includes the cost of envelopes, plastic wrap, the time to carefully package your item and to drive them to the post office.  In January 2023, the cost of shipping by USPS escalated 12%.  The cost of supplies has also escalated with the current inflation pressures.  I understand that in tight times shipping expenses add up, but I cannot ship these items out at a loss.  On the other hand, I will still gladly send out negative & slide orders over $75.00 for free.
