Cosmos Apollo
Naturally dwarf and giving the impression of
being more closely packed than it actually is. Gorgeous silky snow-white,
rose-pink and rich carmine flowers jostle for space. An altogether energetic
tidy plant. Cosmos, sometimes known as the Mexican aster, is perennial
in its native home but it’s not hardy enough for our cooler climate and so in
Britain it is grown as an annual. Drift or group planting produces an
especially spectacular display and allows the plants to support one another too

in good time and good condition
Plugs will be blister packed to ensure their safe arrival
Please unpack plants upon arrival
and prick out into small individual pots
with general purpose compost
Whilst our sturdy packaging is designed to house the plants as securely as possible and our plants packed carefully to help ensure they arrive as fresh and beautiful as when they left us, on a small number of occasions (and for reasons beyond our control) they may get upturned or damaged in transit. If your order has been disturbed in transit, we would advise potting the plants, water as appropriate and give a couple of days to recover where we can then see the extent of the actual damage. From our experience, although on arrival it can be a shock to see and the plants can appear unsalvageable, a couple of days of care and the majority, if not all will often bounce back. If you do have unacceptable losses please contact us.
