Explanation by a manufacturer in particularIf
you want to start model railroading, we recommend Kato's track system "Unitrack" because it is easy and reliable How to connect the "Unitrack"
tracksKato's roadbed track "Unitrack" is a connecting part (unijoiner) that does not have to worry about faulting energization, and a plastic roadbed that boasts outstanding stability. It is a railway track system that even beginners can enjoy with confidence.
In addition to a rich lineup of electric points, elevated tracks, and double-track tracks that can be operated with a switch at hand, it is also possible to easily develop a track plan due to its high systematicity.

When connecting the rails, the unijoiner is pressed parallel to each other while engaging on a flat surface such as a desk.
When it is securely connected, you will hear a "snap" sound.
When removing the rails, gently fold them sideways.
As there is a risk of damage, do not apply force in the vertical direction.

If the unijoiner (connecting part of the rail) is broken, only the unijoiner can be replaced. The unijoiner
can be removed by hooking the "unijoiner removal" that comes with the starter set and pulling it toward you.
Model rails take electricity from the rails through the wheels, so the rails and wheels should be maintained frequently.
We recommend the dedicated maintenance liquid "Unicleaner".
