This enchanting garden themed block of the month (8 months) is so enticing to make.  It will be difficult to decide which of these charming silhouettes to applique first. Set on a white background, the fabrics come alive in the design. Create one block a month and enjoy all the wonder this project has to offer. This quilt was created using Verna's Veranda collection for FreeSpirit Fabrics. Pattern includes all blocks. 

The pattern includes instructions, final layout, a color image of the finished quilt and colored images of each of the eight sections.  Full size patterns for each appliqued motif are included.  Some of the patterns are on letter sized paper, some are on legal-sized paper, some are on double-sized paper, and some are printed on large sheets of paper.  I thumbed through the pattern and all of the pages are included.  

The pattern designer, Verna Mosquera, used soft pinks and greens in her quilt which blends beautifully.  I would probably use darker colors to increase the contrast and show-off the applique.
