This vintage E.D. Bullard Hard Boiled hard hat is unique. It”s Made of aluminum with a full brim. the lightning bolt!! Is sick, a little detail you don’t get with new construction items. Reminds me of the 80s hard hat guy glued to something by his hat. Oh, those silly crazy 80s ads on the TV!

Realizing the need for safety in the mines, Bullard designed his hard hats for miners based on the doughboy steel helmets he wore as a soldier. The helmet was called “hard boiled hat” because it used steam in the manufacturing process. Although originally inspired by miners these hats were commonly worn by workers in various industries to protect their heads from injury.

This vintage hard hat was made in San Francisco California USA. and comes with a liner for added comfort.
