Comoy’s TRADITION, Hi-Grade
All Hand-Made, 212 Lovat Shape
Likely Made c1950’s -1960’s Era
Gorgeous Flame, Great Condition

Here’s a TRADITION pipe bowl with wonderful grain, one of my favorite early Comoy's models. It’s a sharp looking early model by Comoy’s of London. The TRADITION pipes were completely hand made, by “master craftsmen” at Comoy's. This one is a shape 212, which is a classic Lovat shape. From a Comoy's ad: "Like all Comoy's first quality pipes, the Tradition - both the bowl and mouthpiece - is entirely hand fashioned by master craftsmen."
The grain does not disappoint, showing very pretty flame cross-grain and birdseye, rich color, high contrast, and is in great condition. The exterior is in excellent shape, slight normal wear, has no fills. The inside is evenly seasoned, with the draw hole bottom center and it draws easy. The pipe weighs in about 1.4 ounces, and I’d estimate the pipe is from the 1950’s-60’s timeframe. Freshly polished, draws very easy, is ready to smoke!

I offer Pipe Consignment, message me for details, if interested!
Please see my other Auctions! Combined shipping of multiple items no problem, wait until auctions end to pay, and I’ll send a combined invoice! Additional cleaning may be desired on some pipes, as I focus on the exterior reconditioning and reaming, and leave the shank interior to the new owner, pipe stand not included with any pipe. Click photos BELOW to enlarge, and see more photos! Returns OK before you smoke any pipe.
