Blue John Specimen from Derbyshire
This is a great example of Blue John Fluorite from Derbyshire, from old stock. The piece shows the classic blue-purple and yellow from which Blue John derives its name, with some well formeddark purple Fluorite crystals.
The piece weighs 5g and measures approx 21mm x 15mm x 11mm, and is best viewed under magnification to see the full detail (All weights and measures are approximate)
It is a beautiful piece which would appeal equally to collectors or to display in the home
