This is a vintage overglaze porcelain figurine designed by Carl Martin-Hansen (Danish, 1877-1941) for Royal Copenhagen. The figure is numbered 12413 and features a girl from Fanoe with a garland of flowers around her skirt.

Hailing from Kolding in Jutland, Carl Martin-Hansen arrived in Copenhagen as a very young man, where he apprenticed the decoration sculptor H. Chr. Petersen. He later enrolled at Vermehren painter's school and finally at the Academy of Arts in 1897.
