A lovely example, with nearly unmarked surfaces and brilliant, flashy, reflective luster. Fully brilliant and gorgeous. Clearly not a normal "Satin Finish" piece. The Prooflike Satin Finish should not exist! Remember, the Satin Finish is supposed to be 100 satiny over the entire coin. A mere handful of the Satin Finish dimes of 2005-D were accidentally made with Prooflike fields and Cameo contrast over the devices. This is one of those coins. This is a weird anomaly and a rare and under-rated issue, especially in superb-gem grade. Just 48 are known in all grades combined. Also, none of the PL Satin Finish dimes of 2005-D have been found with Full Bands, so upgrading to an FT is not an option.
