It is done in a substantial-weight knit, but not a winter-weight. The little squares you see are created by the way it was knitted, they are not added on.

The polo has a knit collar in a contrasting knit to the body of the shirt. The band on the sleeves match the collar pattern. There is one chest pocket. and 2 inch slits on each side, at the hemline, for ease of movement.

It is 30 inches long, measured down the center-back. It is 54 inches at the chest and 54 inches at the hip. The sleeves are a generous 19 1/2 inches long, measured under the arm.
