A Vintage Brass York Minster Design Door Knocker. It measures approx. 4 inches long and approx. 3 1/4 inches across widest place. It has 2 pre drilled holes so is easy to screw into place (no screws supplied). Being vintage the 'York Minster' lettering has worn and there is a nice dull aged marked patina to the brass which shows it has genuine age. Due to its age and construction there is some sideways movement to the hinged knocker piece however still works as it should. The photos might show the brass colouring to be lighter/darker or to be a different shade due to the light conditions when the photos were taken.
