This antique with Rd number that dates it to the end of the year 1898 Shelley lustre Victorian planter is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made of ceramic with a tactile outer surface and a lustre glaze, this round planter measures 5.5 inches in height and 9 inches across the rims. It has some old crazing which only adds to its look on this occasion in my view, gives it character and its age meaning.

Never knew Shelley made pee pots to be honest, thought they were all fancy cups and saucers, I suppose though as chamber pots Ho this when new was quite fancy because of its mouldings on its out side which are tactile

It’s a nice thing, year it’s got age related stuff going on but it’s still solid as a rock and will make a great pot to display a leafy plant within
