For your consideration is a incredible antique eastlake mortise door lock set manufactured by by P.F. Corbin in New Britain Conn in the early 1900's.  The lock set is from the 'Ceylon' design collection as shown in the 1905 Corbin trade catalog.  The latch, bolt, face plate, knobs, and back plates are made of brass,  the lock body is cast iron.  The mortise lock is in excellent functional condition - it has been refurbished - all parts disassembled, cleaned and properly reassembled.  The lock is reversible - it will work with a right hand or left hand swing door.  Dimensions are as follows: Face plate: 5-1/4 x 7/8", Distance between the face and center-of-hub (set back): 2-3/8", Distance between center-of-hub to center-of-key post: 2-3/16".  Comes with a functioning skeleton key, mounting screws and latch plate.  Please look at the pictures carefully as they are considered part of the description.  Make sure to ask questions before you bid.  Thanks for looking.
