Offered is my version of the famous Green Hornet ice fishing rod from the Grumpy Old Men movie. The wood handle and the rod are both about 13 1/2 inches long. The handle was made from 1 1/8th inch pine. The rod part comes from a broken rod where the guides were removed and re-located. This particular rod is light action..
I do not recommend actually using these rods as the bills are a weak spot and I have a hard time getting enough epoxy glue down in the hole so the rod doesn't flex to much. I have started to cut the beaks a little thicker but I have no way to guarantee the beak wouldn't crack. These weigh less than a pound to ship but the package exceeds 22 inches in length so USPS adds a $4 fee to the normal shipping costs
