A Charles Horner sterling silver vintage cowboy brooch.
A large eye-catching sterling silver cowboy brooch with gilded neckerchief and lasso. The brooch is by Charles Horner of Halifax and, although it dates from the 1940s, the stylised figural design and clean lines of the piece give it an almost timeless quality. (Ref AD-03)
Size : Just over 6cm tall to top of lasso loop.
Weight : 15.2g.
Clasp : Simple hook & pin clasp in secure working order.
Marks : UK silver hallmarks for Chester 1948. ‘C.H’ for Charles Horner. Registered design number.
Condition : Very good.
Minor wear to the gilding on the lasso and edges of the neckerchief. Some light marks and very slight pitting to the surface of the silver in places – barely visible without magnification.
Supplied with a fabric drawstring storage bag / gift bag.
