Very nice Vintage Nautical Sestrel / Henry Browne & Sons Deadbeat Compass. Made in Barkings London UK - Serial Number AFT 1983N. Compass is approximately 10" tall by 7" in diameter at widest point. It has a removable brass hood or cover and has a switch for an electrical light that has not been tested as there were no wires sticking out the bottom of the compass. I would the compass as GOOD PLUS or BETTER CONDITION, very slight dings and isolated spots of light corrosion. It would clean up very niceley.
