RARE Vtg Mexican Folk Art Terra Cotta Pottery Vase w/3D Glass Sun Face Inserts

• This is a rare, handmade Mexican folk art pottery vase circa 1940's (This date is my best estimate based on researching similar types of pottery). 
• It features 3D glass sun face inserts (one on each side) with a high relief crescent moon face at the bottom of the vase that is looking up toward the sun face..
• The vase has a rough textured clay surface in shades of warm, earthy terra cotta with yellow, orange and black accents.  The colors may vary slightly in the photographs because of lighting where the photos were taken.  
• The vase measures approximately 13.5 inches tall x 8 inches across (at the widest point) and 5 inches deep
• This vase is heavy and weighs 7 pounds unboxed.
