This is a hard to find pontiled cobalt Sloper & Frost soda bottle from New Haven,CT....SLOPER & FROST boldly emb on front in arch....Iron pontil sunken bottom (no dark iron deposit, but it is definitely pontiled)....applied blob top...cobalt blue....slope shoulder squat...7 1/4"tall...Excellent shiny nice condition with only one small shallow flake on base; no other damage. A nice clean bottle with no wear. Sloper & Frost were bottlers in New Haven, Connecticut from 1856-1859. ....
